MindNode

MindNode

Description

MindNode makes mind mapping delightful. Mind maps are a visual representation of your ideas, starting with a central thought and growing from there. MindNode allows you to brainstorm, organize & share your thoughts in an intuitive way, so you can focus on the idea behind it. The clean interface lets you concentrate on generating and connecting thoughts, and an infinitely expanding canvas means that no matter how big or complicated your project gets, MindNode can keep up.

MindNode has helped students, artists and project managers to be more creative with less effort.

Good

:
This app has been helpful for some basic mind mapping. I started on the Mac App store and then later bought this app for the ipad thinking I could make edits and updates while on the road. Not as easy as you think. Many attributes don't transfer to the iPad well (crushed up text is just a mess). I'm not real sure what the point is for the mobile parts of this app. Dropbox use is a one way street.

I imagine updates are coming but right now you get a bit less than you pay for.

Get iThought instead

:
This is ok, for what it does. But, functionality is VERY limited. I bought iThought and find its just as easy but has many more features.

Almost Great

:
This is good mind mapping software with a simple, easy-to-use interface; however, I'm really bummed out by the lack of the ability to create cross connections or associations between nodes in the mobile app. I even went as far to build the relationship in the desktop version and then import back into the mobile one but the association was lost. This is especially frustrating considering that this feature exists in other mind mapping iOS applications that are free. I could adequately represent the relationship if multiple nodes could share a child -- actually, that would be really, really nice. Hmm...
